Is it true, our white blood cells produce Hypochlorous Acid?"Neutrophils are a type of white blood cells. They are the first responders when our bodies are attacked by infection. Neutrophils are better known as "pus" and make up 40% of our blood. When an invader is present, neutrophils secrete an enzyme which after some processes, converts to Hypochlorous Acid. HOCl then causes the invader cells to burst.

Bleach contains lye which is caustic and gives it the well known slippery feeling to our skin because it is literally breaking down the fatty tissue and oils of our skin.
