UV Light Limitations

Biofilms are resistant to UV light which has limited effectiveness up to 10 feet and it is useless when the water is stagnant.

Ozone (O ) Limitations

Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) is non-toxic making it a safe and more effective choice than ozone (O ) for ultrasonic misting on produce. HOCl is safe for direct contact with food, and prevents scale buildup throughout misting systems, ensuring smooth uninterrupted operation. Unlike ozone, which can be harsh and degrade produce quality if overused, HOCl gently eliminates bacteria, viruses and fungi while preserving freshness. Accordingly, HOCl can be used any time around people and animals while providing effective surface and air disinfection without the risk of overexposure to harmful ozone levels.
